Rushville Arts Focus Groups 3/28

There will be two evenings of focus groups as part of the Rushville Arts process. We hope you will join us to discuss putting arts out front for all members of the Rushville community.

Topics: Farmer's Market, Maker Space/Gallery, Performing Arts

Each of the topics will meet in small groups to share the survey and stakeholder interview results, discuss ideas, and identify people (and organizations) to engage around the topic. Participants will choose one topic for the evening.

Farmer's Market - How to enhance the craft/art atmosphere of the market and use the market space for arts outside of the weekly summer market. Connecting the market to the ability to become a downtown storefront.

Maker Space/Gallery - How could a space be creatively used to provide studio space for artists in multiple media, allow shared equipment, have gallery/showing space, and encourage community art classes.

Performing Arts - How to support and reinvigorate the existing and historic performing arts opportunities for youth and adults. How to engage more of the community in appreciation of the performing arts. How to make Rushville a regional destination for performance.
