The Indiana Association for Community Economic Development’s 30^th Anniversary Celebration & Prosperity Indiana Summit will be held on November 16, 2016, at the Sheraton Indianapolis Hotel at Keystone Crossing. Please register to celebrate with us, connect with colleagues, and learn best practices to serve and advocate for resilient families and vibrant communities in Indiana.

Your registration allows you to opt-in to any or all aspects of the one-day gathering. The summit content wrapped around the 30th Anniversary lunch will be organized in two tracks. One track will focus on advocacy for community developers. Attend to learn tools for communicating, lobbying, and educating policymakers. We will scan the horizon for the impact of prosperity issues, such as housing production and access, ending homelessness, and asset-building after the fall elections. Track two will focus on tools for placemaking. Attend to understand the strategic, creative, and regulatory issues for creating quality places where people want to live, work, play, and learn. Expect discussion around engagement, collaboration, planning, and economics to inform your learning about placemaking.

During the lunch event, we will present the annual community development awards. Each year, IACED celebrates individuals and organizations in Indiana that have made a positive impact on the Hoosier community economic development field. Help us recognize individuals and programs in Indiana that have demonstrated excellence in the field of community economic development. Click here to nominate yourself or a colleague. The award comes with a cash prize to the nonprofit of the recipient's choice.
